Egyptian Minister of Investment and International Cooperation promised legal reforms that would support investors and minimise obstacles they currently face. This was at a meeting by the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt. The new legislation should include incentives for investors in certain fields. There will be particular emphasis on those that create more job opportunities, increase exports or offer products that Egypt currently imports. During the meeting, president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt Anis Aclimandos expressed optimism over increasing US investments to Egypt. The planned visit by Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi to the US in April to meet US President Donald Trump will likely improve relations, especially in the political and economic fields. • Why Property Investors Must Understand Law of Accumulation

I've found that to succeed in property, investors must understand the Law of Accumulation which states that everything great and worthwhile in life comes about as an accumulation of hundreds, if not thousands, of tiny efforts or sacrifices. This means that everything that you do, or that you fail to do, impacts on the final result you achieve. It's an unusual concept to wrap your head around but once you understand it, you can start to fully appreciate how it can impact your accomplishments as a property investor. I've found that success rarely happens overnight nor comes about as the result of one single experience or breakthrough. Instead, lasting, genuine success gathers and accumulates over time. You have to put in countless seemingly insignificant efforts before you achieve anything w...

  • New Tax Law Impacts Small Business Investors and Stockholders

Many startup entrepreneurs and investors in the state of California are now starting to receive big bills in the mail for back taxes that they never expected to owe. In late December, California's Franchise Tax Board eliminated a deduction that had been available since 1993. This tax break was available to people who made money from selling stock they'd held in California-based small businesses for at least five years, as long as they reinvested their gains in other small businesses in the state. Essentially, it encouraged many people to repeatedly invest in small businesses — potentially a big deal for entrepreneurs and angel investors. As legal tech entrepreneurs, they saw innovation happening in every other sector and the legal industry being left behind. They realized that they had a bigger impact together and that the legal industry is unlikely to be “disrupted” at a rapid pace — it is more likely to evolve. The original goal was to encourage greater collaboration among entrepreneurs to move the industry forward together. At first this meant bringing together legal tech companies, attorneys, in-house counsel, entrepreneurs, and law schools for events centered around product demos, education, and discussion around the future of law. The movement continues to grow and the evolution of law moves faster with every new member of the community. http://evolvelawnow.com/ TWITTER @EvolveLawNow https://twitter.com/EvolveLawNow #EvolveLawLive https://twitter.com/hashtag/evolvelawlive #3107

Trade between the two countries has exceeded $5.5 billion and involves 1,000 American companies investing in Egypt.

You have to put in countless seemingly insignificant efforts before you achieve anything worthwhile. http://propertyupdate.com.au/investors-need-know-law-accumulation/
